Following the Annual Inspection of your fire protection system there will nearly always be deficiencies. If the deficiency is major: such as the standby batteries are totally dead or a floor zone is not working, you will be informed during the inspection so it can be rectified without delay. Other faults will be noted in the inspection report under the data for that device. All deficiencies found will also be summarized at the beginning of the report. Here they will be explained in layperson' language with reasons why they must or should be corrected. Each item in this summary will be cross-referenced to the technical details in the body of the report so you can make informed decisions.
When repairs are authorized, they are scheduled so that occupant or tenant disruption is minimized. For example: replacement parts are noted during the annual inspection so we only need to revisit the suite once. We make every effort to do all the in-suite repairs at one time so the building staff or security personnel can be freed to perform their normal duties.
All replacement parts are factory original and match those existing unless the part is no longer available. We do not install other brands of manual pullstations, a practice carried out by most service companies ending up in frustration to the owner having to have different resetting tools and skills for each different brand.
Wiring alterations are carried out by licensed electricians, fire alarm deficiencies by certified CFAA technicians and new sprinkler runs by pipe fitters. Professional work includes keeping the area clean including not marking the ceiling tiles.
